The artists Marisol and Andy Warhol did similar things at the same time—Coca-Cola cans, the Kennedys—yet it’s Warhol who’s remembered as a Pop art pioneer. This exhibition rewrites that era without the male-centric lens. One hundred pieces by female artists—painting, performance, film, and sculpture—offer up a new narrative. Think Judy Chicago, Brigette Bardot, Jane Fonda, Yoko Ono, Niki de Saint Phalle. —Elena Clavarino
