Since its 2021 East Coast premiere at the Joyce Theater, Caleb Teicher’s contemporary Lindy Hop extravaganza Sw!ng Out has regularly blown the roof off Chelsea’s renowned dance oasis. Now it’s back for the holidays. The first hour showcases an all-star ensemble of 12 in ever-shifting, never-predictable dance constellations of sheer bliss. Teicher’s collaborators include Evita Arce, LaTasha Barnes, and Nathan Bugh. After intermission, the audience is invited onstage to join in. Watching from the sidelines, you’ll notice a dip in the choreographic invention, but the joy of participation offers compensation. Music by the Eyal Vilner Big Band is the cherry on the cake. —Matthew Gurewitsch
