The hickory stripe is a classic of American workwear, known for its indigo and white pattern. This version features a clean, modern fit made from mid-weight 7.5 oz Japanese indigo cotton—light enough for year-round wear and pre-washed for a soft, vintage feel.
In 2015, the husband-and-wife founders of Rivay set out to create casual clothing that is as practical as it is polished. Today, their sophisticated takes on classic military and workwear styles are crafted with an enduring emphasis on fit, fabric, and construction.
Slim fit
- 100 percent cotton true indigo fabric from Japan
- Durable urea buttons in Navy
- Reinforced camp pockets
- Center box pleat with locker loop at back yoke

Turn garment inside out, machine wash cold, gentle cycle. Wash with like colors or separately, do not bleach, tumble dry low or hang to dry. Remove promptly, warm iron if needed.
The Palmer uses a true indigo fabric which will fade nicely over time, but is prone to “crocking” or color transfer onto things like fabric, leather or upholstery. It is advised to wash with like colors for the first few washes.
