Designed in Italian canvas, featuring a supple soft contrast trim, and a detachable shoulder strap, which can be removed and reattached using Mark Cross’ signature collar studs. The front clasp has been pulled from their infamous Rear Window case, and reimagined in palladium. The Madeline 21 is the smallest of the Madeline family, and is lined with a soft, creamy goatskin suede in natural beige.
Mark Cross was established in Boston in 1845 by Henry W. Cross to create the finest leather goods for the horse and buggy rider, expanding to include luggage and accessories by 1934. The brand was re-established in 2011 and now produces pieces in the same Italian ateliers as the celebrated originals. The current collections are inspired by the extensive Mark Cross archives, a dedication to fine craftsmanship and excellent leathers, devoid of excess hardware and logos.
