Il Buco Vita’s candle maker works exclusively by hand to produce a type of medieval candle called ”duplero” in Latin, meaning double. This decorative style of candle has been used in Italy for centuries.
Created by Donna Lennard, the woman behind New York’s acclaimed il Buco restaurants, Il Buco Vita celebrates traditional Italian craftsmanship with its artisanally designed objects for the tabletop and home.

100 percent beeswax, untreated hemp wicks. Natural scent varies as wild-harvested pollen changes seasonally.
Keep away from flammable materials and burn in a well ventilated space. As the hemp wicks are untreated, the flame burns large. Be sure to trim the wick before each use to prolong burning time and minimize flame size. Extinguish with a wick snuffer if possible.
