Dana Schutz: Jupiter's Lottery
Editor’s Notes:
Dana Schutz paints characters teetering on the edge of oblivion — and makes it impossible to look away. Jupiter’s Lottery documents her 2023 exhibition at David Zwirner, New York, with 112 illustrations of her large-scale paintings and sculptures, a long-form essay by Jarrett Earnest chronicling the creation of her most ambitious sculpture to date, and behind-the-scenes photography by Jason Schmidt.
Drawing on David Zwirner’s world-renowned artists, estates, and exhibitions, the contemporary art gallery’s imprint publishes monographs, historical surveys, and collected writings of the highest quality.
