No wedding drama can faze Marcy Blum. After 40 years of planning and producing high-profile nuptials for couples including LeBron James and Savannah Brinson, Padma Lakshmi and Salman Rushdie, and George Soros and Tamiko Bolton, she knows how to start a marriage with magic. Some of her clients are even still married. Her hospitality experience pre-dates her career as an elite wedding planner. Blum studied at Le Cordon Bleu and the Culinary Institute of America, and has co-owned six restaurants in New York City, including Gage & Tollner, with her former husband Peter Aschkenasy before launching Marcy Blum Event Associates in 1986.
