Tish Weinstock’s career in the beauty industry began in 2014, when she took a job working as an editorial assistant at I-D. Four years later, she became the magazine’s beauty features editor, a role she held at Dazed for a year and then at Vogue from 2020 to 2022.
Beyond beauty, Weinstock knows a thing or two about fashion, too. In 2022, she married fashion stylist Tom Guinness at Belvoir Castle, a sprawling English countryside estate owned by David Manners, the 11th Duke of Rutland, on Halloween weekend. They decorated the venue with macabre skulls and bones, and Weinstock channeled Morticia Addams in a Jane Bourvis lace dress before changing into a vintage gown by John Galliano.
Now, the couple has settled into a charming mews near Holland Park. When she isn’t writing, Weinstock might be shopping for Jazz Age silk kimonos or pastel ostrick plumes. Here, she shares her favorite vintage stores in London.
