The hilarious, affectionate, and often sarcastic rapport between exes Hannah and Elijah was one of the delights of Lena Dunham’s television series Girls. The characters met in college, where Hannah fell in love with the very clearly gay man, and then became close friends and roommates. The roles were filled by Dunham and Andrew Rannells, who also happen to be friends. They now take the stage at BAM to discuss Dunham’s second memoir, Famesick.
