“If you care about musicals, you cannot miss this show,” writes the critic Clive Davis in The Times. He’s referring to Stephen Sondheim’s Old Friends, Cameron Mackintosh’s tribute to the composer and lyricist, who died in 2021. After runs in London and Los Angeles, the musical has arrived on Broadway, led by the stars Bernadette Peters and Lea Salonga.
