Now in its sixth year, On Air Fest, a three-day festival devoted to podcasts and audio storytelling, is bringing creatives and fans together at the Wythe Hotel, in Brooklyn. Podcast hosts, writers, and producers—including the team behind Slate magazine’s Slow Burn: Roe v. Wade, Marielle Segarra from NPR’s Life Kit, and the eponymous host of On Being with Krista Tippett—will give talks and appear on panels. The festivities will end with the Audio Vanguard Award (February 25), bestowed this year on Audie Cornish, a CNN correspondent and the former host of NPR’s All Things Considered. The festival also unveils its first interactive exhibition, “The Podcast Experience.” A few of the hotel’s rooms have been curated to envelop visitors in the worlds of specific podcasts. —Jensen Davis
