Although the original score for the silent Nosferatu is lost, a contemporaneous suite of music adapted from it survives. At least one other, more symphonic, modern adaptation of the historic material exists, but the very lightness of Lervik’s intimate chamber-music approach may make his version the one most likely to get under your skin. —Matthew Gurewitsch
