New York City Ballet: Winter Season 2022

Jan 27 – Mar 3, 2022
20 Lincoln Center Plaza, New York, NY 10023, USA

New York City Ballet’s winter season continues into week five. The program on February 22 to 24 consists of contemporary works, including Jamar Roberts’s new ballet Emanon—In Two Movements and the return of Kyle Abraham’s 2018 hit with couture costumes The Runaway. The week continues with the program called “Short Stories,” a selection of ballets that tell stories from the Bible (The Prodigal Son) and Hans Christian Andersen (The Steadfast Tin Soldier) and Broadway (Slaughter on Tenth Avenue). The last performance of the season is on February 27, and bids farewell to the male principal Gonzalo Garcia, who dances works by Balanchine and Jerome Robbins. —L.J.
