Mika Rottenberg’s videos and installations are pointed without being polemical, facetious without being flip. Her work comments on culture with a faint Marxist-Feminist inflection, but doesn’t lay down ideologies. “Saying what it is about kills nuance,” she explains. Rottenberg’s first solo show celebrates her thoughtful, funny, and moving takes on work, gender, and technology. —C.J.F.
