Lea von Wintzingerode is based in Berlin. But for her exhibition in Mexico City the artist went to Mexico City, and in two months produced the paintings for this show. The word “naive” is often associated with Wintzingerode’s work, yet a feeling of uncertainty pervades. What is really happening in her simple scenes?
