French contemporary artist Laurent Grasso takes inspiration from the world’s wonders—think meteorites, the aurora borealis. Recently, Grasso used thermal cameras and drones to capture the radiation being emitted from several aboriginal sacred sites in the Northern Territory of the Australian desert. This footage provides the basis for the artist’s new film, OttO, commissioned by the 21st Sydney Biennial. OttO has its U.S. debut at the Sean Kelly Gallery alongside a new exhibition of Grasso’s paintings, videos, and sculptures, which continue his exploration of electromagnetic radiation. —J.V.
