When the coronavirus hit, America closed up shop in a hurry. Julian Brooks, curator of the Getty exhibition “Michelangelo: Mind of a Master,” had just as little time as the rest of us to pack up and go, but he still managed to narrate a rapid-fire tour of the show, which celebrates Michelangelo’s draftsmanship with two dozen original drawings. “They’re not just any legs or feet,” he explains, referring to the limbs of God that Michelangelo sketched for the Sistine Chapel’s Creation scene. The short videos also offer Brooks’s takes on the Seated and Striding Male Nude and, most interestingly, a portrait of Michelangelo at 75, drawn by one of the artist’s close friends and collaborators, Daniele da Volterra. —J.V.
