David Zwirner has three galleries in Manhattan (a fourth—a flagship—is under construction on West 21st Street) and branches in London and Hong Kong. This October, as Fred Astaire sings in Funny Face, it’s “Bonjour, Paris!” Zwirner has staked out territory in the Marais—the space of 8,600 square feet that was once home to the art dealer Yvon Lambert. Work by the pulp-punk, razor-sharp American artist Raymond Pettibon launches the new gallery. —L.J.
