The theme’s latest iteration makes the stage its cell, recounting the real 1997 abduction of a psych-ward chaplain by a former patient. Written by the victim’s son and rooted in her recollections, the story spans the five months that Dana spent in captivity, moved from one motel room to another along highways from Florida to North Carolina.
