The mise-en-scène is mythic: three great musicians—at once masters of their instruments (tenor and flute, tabla, guitar) and seekers of spiritual light—will traverse the still-smoldering landscape of northern California to meet in a vast, empty room. If their world debut as a trio cannot, by itself, bring healing to the land, it will at least bring solace to their scattered hearers.
