Watch Bad Monkey, the Apple TV series based on Hiaasen’s novel of the same name, and you’ll see why. Vaughn plays Andrew Yancy, a former police detective who now works as a restaurant inspector. A tourist on a fishing boat discovers a severed arm floating off the coast of the Florida Keys, and Yancy is recruited to bring the limb to a Miami morgue.
