Hotel Corazón

Hotel Corazón.

Carretera de Deià, km. 56, 7, 07100 Sóller, Balearic Islands, Spain

Nestled in the Tramontana Mountains, between Deià and Sóller, there is a small pink building with a terrace flanked by palm trees, its shape soft and organic against the landscape. It’s called the Hotel Corazón, and it’s run by husband-and-wife duo, artist Edgar Lopez and the fashion photographer Kate Bellm. It definitely looks fashion-adjacent—Indian fantasy tables, hand-painted ceramics, and artist-designed ashtrays dot the property. The food is farm-to-table, with a farmer-in-residence, Emma Philips, who tends the vegetable patches. But above all, it feels solitary in the right way—long lunches beneath a retractable awning at pink marble tables, curved sun-motif benches facing the mountains, and a terrace that fills slowly with hikers, artists, and locals drifting in from the Tramuntana trails. —Elena Clavarino
