This Saturday, the legendary music producer Clive Davis, the restaurateur Danny Meyer, and Mayor de Blasio are throwing a party on the Great Lawn in Central Park. Promoted as a “celebration of New York City’s comeback” from the coronavirus pandemic (fingers crossed the city doesn’t have to stage another comeback sometime in the future), the event features over 20 performers—from Jimmy Fallon and Gayle King to Andrea Bocelli, Patti Smith, Bruce Springsteen, and Earth, Wind & Fire. Although VIP ticket prices range from $399 to $4,950, those willing to stand during the concert can snag general admissions tickets for free. If you don’t live in New York City, or you want to avoid the crowd, you can watch the party live on CNN. —J.D.
