During these troubling times we’ve had to quickly adapt to new ways of living, and this has driven new outlets for cultural experiences. Clearly ahead of the curve, the Virtual Design Festival is taking a giant step, establishing itself as the first online-only design fair to date. Running from April 15 to June 30, each week sees talks, movies, and collaborative programming with design firms. Highlights include an exclusive series of conversations with the futuristic fashion designer Iris van Herpen, beginning on May 6. And on May 20, Swedish design is celebrated in a program from Stockholm Design Week and Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair. There’s much more to discover, so check out the site. —E.C.
