The wedding day! Younger siblings are jealous. Ominous weather reports darken the mood. The make-up artist paints with a hand as heavy as van Gogh’s. Pre-ceremony chaos is to be expected, but sparring between soon-to-be in-laws can turn feet cold. This play invites audiences to a tony Fifth Avenue apartment, where two families, long-time rivals, prepare for a blessed union between one’s son and the other’s daughter. Richard Greenberg’s latest is apparently not his best, but worth a try for interested fans. —C.J.F.
