Young Concert Artists supports rising talent the way it counts, by managing and promoting young careers until it’s time for the big-league agencies to take over. The current roster includes the Borromeo String Quartet, the violist Hsin-Yun Huang, the pianists Albert Cano Smit and Zhu Wang, the flautist Anthony Trionfo, the mezzo-soprano Megan Moore, and the bass-baritone William Socolof. This festive program includes two new chamber works, arias by Handel, Samuel Barber’s meditation Dover Beach, and a splash of four-hand Stravinsky to close. All the listed musicians will be heard, and you’d best believe that, Hamilton-style, they are not throwing away their shot. —Matthew Gurewitsch
