Signature Styles: Friendship, Album, and Fundraising Quilts

Jan 22 – June 21, 2020
47-29 32nd Pl, Long Island City, NY 11101, United States

“The devil’s in the detail” is not a bad way to think about signature quilts. Each section, or block, is created or paid for by different members of a community. And each quilt, the product of a group effort, is powerful, an artwork that bears many signatures and speaks of individuals stitched together in a circle—or square—of friendship. —E.C.
