Chatsworth House dates back to the 17th century and belongs to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, whose family has inhabited it for 16 generations. The estate’s 105-acre gardens often host sculptures by acclaimed artists from around the world. Five thousand miles away, in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert, a vast land plays host to a festival of arts and crafts. You’ve probably heard of it—the legendary Burning Man. Art cars, sculptures, and installations populate this remote area of the desert every year as August ends and September begins. In a surprising collaboration, 12 Burning Man works have come to Chatworth’s parkland. —Elena Clavarino
