Quentin Tarantino on The Joe Rogan Experience

Streaming on Spotify

In interviews, Quentin Tarantino can come off as nerdy, self-assured, and a bit of a jerk. But pretty quickly you realize that he’s voicing what all of Hollywood—at least its directors and producers—think but won’t say. Like most of Joe Rogan’s podcast episodes, this one clocks in at nearly three hours. No matter where you start or stop, you’ll hear Tarantino telling it like it is, be it old movies, cancel culture, Harvey Weinstein, Charles Manson, or Bruce Lee. He also talks about ending his career on a high note, revealing that Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood was his last major film, and that he’ll be doing just one more, a sort of “epilogue” to his oeuvre. He then plans to move on to plays and books (his first, a novelization of Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood, is out now). Love Tarantino or hate him, this podcast is worth a listen. —J.V.
