New York International Antiquarian Book Fair

Apr 30 – May 3, 2026
643 Park Ave, New York, NY 10065, United States

For 66 years the Antiquarian Book Fair has served as the premier site for illuminated manuscripts, memorabilia, illustrations, and, of course, rare books. Situated at the grand Park Avenue Armory, it’s a place to explore pieces of literary history that are usually tucked away. This year’s offerings bring together over 170 exhibitors from around the world. Highlights include a rare atlas owned by Queen Mary I, a first edition of The Bluest Eye by Toni Morrison, and one of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s coats. “NYIABF Presents”—the fair’s annual panel series—provides further thought on the rare artifacts. On May 2, make sure not to miss the actress and fair ambassador Emma Roberts as she discusses the rich literary history of Los Angeles with authors Lili Anolik and Stephanie Danler, moderated by AIR MAIL’s editor Julia Vitale. —Maggie Turner
