Written today, this play could easily be called “OK, Boomer.” Following a couple from the late 1960s until the present day (or rather 2010, when this was first staged), British playwright Mike Bartlett offers a sweeping and often unflattering take on the post-war generation. Funny, relatable, and honest, Bartlett—who wrote Love, Love, Love while still in his early 30s—charts a couple careening from smoke stains and free love to suburban living and adult children. —B.A.
