The queen of Broadway is back. After a decade away from the stage, Idina Menzel is starring in the new musical Redwood—book by Tina Landau, music by Kate Diaz, lyrics by Diaz and Landau. The show, which arrives in New York straight from a run at the La Jolla Playhouse, in San Diego, is about a woman looking to heal after a life-altering incident compels her to quit close friends and family.
