The late textile artist Aurèlia Muñoz created large, almost airborne tapestries out of macramé, an art of knots. She also made room-sized sculptural installations—earthy, a bit mythic in their scale—at a time when textile art had yet to gain stature. In a display that is a tribute to Muñoz’s boldness, her family has donated an array of works—including drawings and paintings—that connect Muñoz’s later works to her early ideas. —E.C.
