Frida Kahlo’s great grandniece, Mara Romero Kahlo, helped to create this digitally animated light show based on the painter’s work. It’s the latest exhibition from producer Massimiliano Siccard, who is known for his “Immersive Van Gogh.” Like the Van Gogh, the Kahlo exhibition will make its way across North America, appearing in nine cities this year. Unlike the Van Gogh, viewers will not only see Kahlo’s surrealist works as never before, they will also learn more about her personal history. “You feel our family,” Romero Kahlo told Artnet. “It’s spectacular.” —Clara Molot
