Remember Bernie Madoff? Playwright Deb Margolin sure does. This play, first produced in 2010, dramatizes an imagined encounter between the infamous Ponzi schemer (Jeremiah Kissel) and an elderly Holocaust survivor (Gerry Bamman) seeking to entrust his savings to Madoff. One of Madoff’s former secretaries (Jenny Allen) interjects court-testimony monologues about what she did and didn’t know. —K.F.
