“What does feeling look like?” asks Hannah van Bart. For this artist, emotion and artistry find form in portraiture, in figures characteristically unconventional and sometimes distorted. “I want to know how my memories and feelings look,” says Van Bart, “what images they make.” In this online exhibition her archived drawings are placed alongside new works on canvas.
