“I think a lot of my work has to do with [a] kind of exposure,” the Mexican artist Gabriel Orozco has said, “to expose vulnerability and make that your strength.” Orozco does this by repurposing everyday objects, stripping them to their core and imbuing them with new meaning. A solo exhibition, kicked off alongside this spring’s 13th Biennial of Havana, contains both new and past work from the artist. —J.V.
