Frieze London

Oct 11–15, 2023

Frieze London returns to Regent’s Park for its 20th year this October. With a robust mix of up-and-coming artists and long-established creators from over a hundred galleries, this year’s lineup also includes “Artist-to-Artist,” a new initiative in which renowned artists such as Tracey Emin and Simone Leigh each nominate a younger contemporary for their first solo exhibition. If you prefer the classics, this year the fair coincides with Frieze Masters, which also includes more than a hundred galleries spanning centuries of art; a dynamic lineup of lectures is curated by the director of the National Portrait Gallery. Highlights are sure to include new works from Erwin Wurm (at Knust Kunz), Yinka Shonibare CBE (at Cristea Roberts), and Tacita Dean (at BORCH Edition), as well as the countless stimulating artist talks at both Frieze London and Masters. —Lucy Horowitz
