On August 30, 2022, a Wall Street banker and an actress check in at the Ritz Hotel in Paris in a desperate effort to save their marriage. Exactly 25 years earlier, in the same hotel, another couple with too much money and too many paparazzi in hot pursuit checked in: Dodi Fayed and Diana Spencer. Their getaway ended with both of them dead in a car crash. Dodi & Diana, a new play by Kareem Fahmy, follows the banker and the starlet’s attempts to talk through their problems, a process that inevitably digs up secrets, lies, and an unexpected connection to Dodi and Di.
