Just as seeds can root and grow in a sidewalk crack, art can spring up anywhere. Imagination and energy will find their space. This exhibition marks the 10-year anniversary of the Hyde Park Art Center’s 2009 show “Artists Run Chicago,” which represented artist-run venues that had set up shop in garages, storefronts, apartments, sheds, you name it. This time, the Center celebrates 50 artist-run venues and organizations from many Chicago neighborhoods. —L.J.
