Technical authority, melting lyricism, classical gravity, and dimples for days—Tiler Peck has it all. The New York City Ballet principal dancer goes from strength to strength. Now she’s curating her own ballet evening for herself and some dancing friends. The program inaugurates a new series at City Center—Artists at the Center—which gives dance stars a chance to explore new territory. Peck has chosen choreography by William Forsythe (The Barre Project) and Alonzo King (Swift Arrow), and is collaborating with Michelle Dorrance on a world premiere. —L.J.
