Amy Ziering and Kirby Dick, the filmmakers behind an expose on Russell Simmons, now turn their focus to Woody Allen, Mia Farrow, and the decades-old allegations that Allen molested their then-seven-year-old daughter Dylan. Allen v. Farrow pairs home videos and footage with interviews from Dylan, Mia, and the couple’s son Ronan Farrow. The zinger is a controversial videotape account from Dylan, shot by Farrow shortly after the alleged assault and never before shown to the public. Needless to say, Allen, his wife Soon-Yi Previn, and his son Moses Farrow, who believes his father is innocent, did not cooperate with the documentary, which was shot in secret over several years. Does the world really need more inconclusive exploration of the Allen-Farrow debacle? No, but we’ll probably watch anyway. —J.V.
