Though some New York art fairs have swung open the doors for in-person attendance, the seventh edition of 1-54—the leading fair of contemporary African art—is keeping this year’s edition online only. Plans for the fair involve 26 galleries, and there will also be panel discussions, film screenings, and talks. For those who are eager to visit a show in person, 1-54 organizers have curated an exhibition of textile art, “Knotted Ties,” on at the Rockefeller Plaza. The show runs concurrently with the fair’s viewing room, and is up until May 26. —E.C.
