It’s no accident that Danielle Kosann’s paintings have a stylish bent. She’s the artistic director of Monica Rich Kosann jewelry, and works with Bergdorf Goodman and the Carlyle hotel, where another fashionable creature, Ludwig Bemelmans’s Madeline, found a permanent home. This painting, she says, has her “somewhere between New York and L.A.” Stylish, indeed.
