David Binder’s inaugural Next Wave Festival as the artistic director of the Brooklyn Academy of Music introduces audiences to the work of companies not seen on BAM stages before. This production, based on Chekhov’s Three Sisters, happens in two places and two genres at once: live as theater and on screen as film.
