Taking its name from the phrase “From here to eternity but not,” which the German artist Martin Kippenberger inscribed in his 1984 painting, Spaghettivollmond, this exhibition sees contemporary artist Tiago Tebet drawing inspiration from the spaghetti-thin lines in the Kippenberger work. In these 15 canvases, Tebet lays on oils in colors glorious, gentle, and spectral, and then cuts through the color field with linear patterns that resonate magically, challenging perception. —E.C.
