If any living therapist will be remembered in the future, it’s Esther Perel. The Belgian psychotherapist has written two books (among them, Mating in Captivity: Unlocking Erotic Intelligence), given TED Talks, created a board game, and even made a cameo appearance on Apple TV+’s The Morning Show. Perel is best known for her podcast, Where Should We Begin?, in which she takes listeners into one-time therapy sessions with real but anonymous patients—often couples. “The rapture induced by a great story is one of my favorite experiences,” Perel says, “especially stories about love in all its many forms.” This summer, in a special eight-episode series, Perel focuses on big relationship issues, which include a young couple struggling with immigration, a pair of married divorce lawyers, and a couple dealing with adultery. So tune in. According to Ms. Perel, you are bound to see yourself in this “constellation of characters who feel vaguely familiar.” —Jeanne Malle
