It begins on the night Sinatra’s career did—his solo debut on December 31, 1942, at the Paramount Theatre in New York. Helmed by the two-time Tony-winning director Joe DiPietro, Sinatra’s rapid rise, tempestuous affair with Ava Gardner, the eventual decline in his record sales, and his glorious rise once again play out to the sounds of his greatest hits.
