Each summer, the Institute of Contemporary Art/Boston hosts a new project. This year’s show pays homage to the building’s own industrial heritage—its days as a copper pipe and sheet metal plant. Six artists, including the great El Anatsui, are transforming industrial and everyday materials (such as bottle caps and car lights) into installations scaled huge. —Clara Molot
