On his 85th birthday, the Georgian-Russian painter, sculptor, and architect Zurab Tsereteli is being feted with a number of exhibitions. Known around the world for large-scale monuments that include Moscow’s Peter the Great statue and New Jersey’s Tear of Grief (which commemorates the victims of 9/11), he himself works large, with studios in Tbilisi, Moscow, Paris, and New York. Here in Baku, the exhibition showcases more than 30 of his paintings, sculptures, and enamels. —J.V.
